PGTB is certified for ISO 9001 and NFX 50-900
This quality approach forms part of a commitment to meeting the expectations of INRAE, the University of Bordeaux and its funding bodies (the State, the Aquitaine Region, GIS IBISA) as part of a strategy to open up the platform to academic and industrial users and to forge partnerships with other regional and national platforms. It guarantees PGTB users that their requirements and regulations are met, as well as the traceability and quality of the analyses and results produced. To this end, a Quality Management Officer has been appointed to lead this initiative.

With a view to achieving sustainable performance, the PGTB aims to increase the satisfaction of its users and stakeholders through the continuous improvement of its operations, services and activities.
With regard to this, the PGTB has four objectives:
- To promote innovation and the development of new areas of expertise
- Consolidating the PGTB’s position as a scientific partner
- To promote the visibility of the PGTB and ensure the dissemination of our innovations and expertise
- Embracing an eco-friendly laboratory approach
