This approach is particularly well-suited to population genetics studies, kinship analysis, or for densifying genetic maps. Several hundred samples can be analysed simultaneously across dozens of markers. The PGTB also offers a comprehensive solution for orphan species lacking genomic resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pgtb.fr\/en\/genotypage-de-snp-par-sequencage-snpseq\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/pgtb.fr\/genotypage-de-snp-par-sequencage-snpseq\/\" target=\"_self\">SNP genotyping or SNPseq<\/a>, is based on the same principle as SSRseq but targets several dozen markers across large sample sets (ranging from several hundred to several thousand).
