{"id":31,"date":"2022-02-04T09:47:25","date_gmt":"2022-02-04T08:47:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pgtb.fr\/?page_id=31"},"modified":"2026-05-19T12:56:51","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T10:56:51","slug":"le-sequencage","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pgtb.fr\/en\/le-sequencage\/","title":{"rendered":"Illumina &amp; Oxford Nanopore sequencers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The PGTB has two <a href=\"https:\/\/pgtb.fr\/en\/sequenceurs-illumina\/\" target=\"_self\">s\u00e9quenceurs<strong> <\/strong>Illumina<\/a> : a NextSeq 2000 and a MiSeq i100, and two <a href=\"https:\/\/pgtb.fr\/en\/sequenceurs-oxford-nanopore\/\" target=\"_self\">Oxford Nanopore Technologies sequencers<\/a> : the PromethION and the MinION.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Long-read sequencing from Oxford Nanopore Technologies has the advantage of enabling the direct sequencing of native strands (DNA or RNA): there is no PCR bias or fluorescence signal.
